When she first told me she was pregnant a few months earlier, I was quite surprised coz I know that they were not planning for one, after all her husband has grown up children and she herself has a son from their previous marriage. But I guess, you can't plan these things and after her decision to stop working and then deciding to give birth here, I sort of got myself psyched to welcome a baby into our home. But alas, we can only plan.
So we are left to fend for ourselves. Lucky that it's Ramadan and the kids don't eat during the day and I get home from work much earlier, but the laundry is really a chore. Hubs' back on the laundry folding routine...he's so good with it while the kids help here and there. I have always hated ironing but these past few days found myself doing it on a daily basis. Incidentally, this is the Ramadan that we chose not to go to the Ramadan bazaars to buy food so when I come home from work it's straight to the kitchen to cook.So far so good...

I hope Ana gets well soon and be on her feet and fit for work.It's times like this that we really appreciate what she does in our home. She's been with us for almost 10 years already. One day she would want to go back to Indonesia for good but for now, as long as she wants to work with us, we are more than happy to have the extra hand.
